
I am currently finishing up Children at the Gate, which I previously read when I was a junior in high school. I have been wanting to reread it for over a decade.
Ryan Oliver thinks it is an incredible book, and it is challenging him to love deeply and without viewing the consequences. The book is asking him to change his life, to constantly confront the world with its own stories, to do everything boldly, including sin. Well, at least he likes the idea even if he doesn't do it.
Jeremy Gleed thinks this book is a dangerous slippery slope for young impressionable individuals and thinks we should stick to self help books
